New Stories: How long does it take before they are posted?

Hello.
I just wrote my first piece and submited it is as "A+ Amy", now I can not wait to see it on the site! How long should I be expecting, a couple of days, a weeks - going crazy here.

Usually around a week, often less. However because the site admin has just changed, there is a big backlog that the new admin is working to get through (your efforts are appreciated Tiger!) so probably in the order of two to three weeks (total uninformed guess on my part).

now it is down to a few days ---as new and updated stories are published daily ---so it is according to the number of stories ahead of yours ----the front page updates are done once or twice a week
