I'm very sorry for the downtime on the server. Some people could not get to bdsmlibrary.com for over 24 hours.
The idiots techs at my hosting company couldn't figure it out and so I finally fixed it myself. I will be changing hosts when it comes time to renew. I can't believe these fucking morons.

I was also wondering what was... the terrifying thought that it might have shut down or something crossed my mind. I'm glad it was just some down-time!

You do realize that there are professionals that use the F word, right? I mean...it's not like we're at a board meeting all dressed in suits and ties....and even then...professionals use the F word. So what?...We are all adults...we have all said it, done it....and hope to do it again!! :D (Thanks Barton...sorta stole part of your quote!):p

I woul have to admit, that if I was the owner of a site that was for profit or used as a "SHOWCASE" for my skills I would not use any vulgar language in any public section of the board which this thread is in , and with that being said Tiger and Rabbit are not out to make money from the site(by selling access) and they volenteer their time to adminsiter the site. they have the right to say any thing they want to on the site and or the forums.
I have to say as a Webmaster myself that I know the frustration when you call tech support when the host is down and all you get is an answer if the server is up and running according to my panel, or it shows the site as a blank screen because you did not put the html tag in your .access file, when I don't have access to the .access file. Only the host does not the client.
That is why I run my own webserver/host now.

Hmmm Showcasing their skills? Lets take a look at this. Previously we didn't have to see the banner ads all over the place. So much for not doing it for profit. Hmmm previously we actually got updates a little faster then once a month. It looks like the skills that are being showcased are the skills it takes to buy a previously well run website. Do a little facelift on it, toss in some banner ads and then whine when someone points out that complaining about the hosting company with foul language is unprofessional.

She probably did. The real question is did I listen to her? As for minding my own language I don't believe I've use any of the foul language I was pointing out that wasn't professional. As for am I old enough to be here, well, since I'm older then you then, either neither of us are or both of us are. I'll let you decide.

We don't need pretty language. If we need anything in here it is information, and maybe meaningful comment of a technical nature. I hope these niggling complaints will not discourage Tiger from giving us further updates in which he feels free to tell it like it is, when he has time.

I do not think it will ---as he is working hard to get them straighten out ---but please realize ---he and I have a personal life---jobs and family ----so we do not work on this site 24/7----and even though the board may go down ---we do not always know it for several hours---This also involves other people who may also have personal lives like hosts and such---so please be patient---

This site has always had ad banners, but they were more on subject and not so large, but they were there, and links to the comercial sites were there but again not as large and on topic.

does it really matter how the owner keeps this site free---or would you rather not have banners or links to comercial sites and you have to pay to access the forum---more and more forums are going to pay sites---I enjoy free sites myself---I pay no attention to the banners or links unless they intrest me

What I am saying is that this site has always had banner ads, running a site is expensive, I personally don't mind the ads, but it does make it harder with the new ads to quietly view what updates are done with the nudes across the top of the page and the larger print of the side banners.

That is noted ---but maybe the smaller ads were not producing enough money to keep the site up and running --- I can not fault the owner for trying anything to keep it going and free---And let me tell you there are not many choices of sponsors who would place their adds on Sex sites anymore --with the Changing US laws---they do not want to take the risks---so with sponsors becoming fewer there is little choice as to what is put on the site--nudes ---or not they help pay to keep the site free---

then I too must apologize---I have a bad habit of using he as a generic term for member---sorry----next I just hate to see people who are working hard on their own free time for free to be run down ---when all they are trying to do is keep this site running and free---Honest ---Tiger is trying ---and he has his fits of anger too---just like all of us ----we just need to keep out complaints or comments to the board and its workings not directed at a person or persons---
