Do people want stories featuring the torture of prisoners by secret police any more?
Once upon a time we used to get a few stories posted by the people like Electrosadist, Powerone and the master Cortez.
I check the new posts quite frequently and I get the impression that no-one is interested in this theme any more, apart from me and von Hentzau.
Don't get me wrong I'm talking about fantasy here - I know for a fact that if I had lived in Chile or Argentina I would have 'disappeared' too.
It seems that for some of us who have a dark side and sadistic fantasies, the idea that you could be employed to do the things you think about 'legally' has its attractions.
If there is no demand for this subject matter any more it would be nice to know.
If there is place for this kind of story I am sure the other authors and myself would like to know.
Speaking for myself I know that a good story stimulates my imagination and helps me write so if any of you fancy having a go that would be great.
