I just don't get the "turning subs into animals" thing at all...I usually 'get' the various kinks on here (although some I find a bit distasteful) and I do like the modification/mind control aspects of stories but having a sub turned into an animal is just odd.

Anyone got any thoughts on why they like it. Just curious.

Thanks

It is more about control ---and their having less than human feeling, so you lock you doggie or kittie in a cage at night or during the day. you are not only the master but the owner. Making them submit to sub human things turns some people on. thats what I make of it anyway :151:

For many this is just carrying over childhood games and making them adult versions.

Can you remember acting as an animal as a child playing zoo or such.

having a rope tied to your waist pulling the wagon.

There are many reasons that people find Pony or pet play enjoyable. Most is the idea of leading one around on a leash for puppy play or the extra training involved in the proper gant of a pony. For some it is the pony pulling then in a cart. For others it is the almost circus like activities. And how many didn't dream of running away with the circus when they were young.

Were as most of the stories you read are of the extreme fiction side, most that play enjoy a much more mild form. I don't want my wife to be my full time pony but to have her prance around the barn for an afternoon is just another of the roles that we enjoy.

Some people treat animals better than humans... and most animals show unconditional "love" for their owners.

I can see the attraction, from both sides, just based on those two factors.
