depends - I have two erotic pieces displayed...one is a painting in my bedroom, the other a photograph in the bathroom, but those are only kinky on the second glance. If the art is tasteful and not too offensive to anyone who might look, I'd display them. :)


BDSM apparel - wear it in public or only in private?

For me. In public but then I also ride a motorcycle. So the leathers are appropriate. The best thing about that is I don't have to pack an extra suitcase. *weg* Of course I rarely wear the chaps without pants when riding..... did I say rarely? LOL

For her. In public but mostly subtle items signifying submission. Of course, these days it's less of an issue because of the goth look.

I'll bet you necklaces and pendants are today's acceptable versions of ancient symbols of slavery.
