heyy guyss!! I'm new here and well.. this is my first post... and well yeah... I'm graduating from high school this year :) YAY! And well ... I have a funny story :p

The other day I went to my school's guidance office to ask about university submisions of the kind and I was wearing perfectly normal earrings!! lol well maybe not perfectly normal ,but see they were handcuff looking earrings. And really they're quite nice. The teacher freaked when she saw me and she was like: Dawn!! Those earrings... do you know what that means?!?!
I acted sort of lost... and said: um... no???
The two teachers there freaked and i went into the other room.
The teacher came into the room where i'd already taken off the earrings. They gave me a lecture and said: yes.. Dawn.. some people when they... are together, they like to tie eachother up with all sorts of whips and chains... and handcuffs... just kinky stuff you know?

I just sat there, looking stoned and shocked.

It was quite funny, cuz little do they know right? ;)

:sex:

Hi & welcome BdsmVirgin. Well your teachers were right! Good on you for promoting the cause so blatantly...

If I saw a young lady with handcuff earrings, I'd sure give her the 'evil eye'. :)

Sadly only in my dreams so far...

Hope you enjoy it here, great first post. :wel

Welcome BDSMVirgin. My wife has a handcuff anklet that she wears sometimes. I'm always torn between being amused and being saddened by the shocked looks she gets. :wel

I have silver keyrings from Tiffany's, they're usually bought for the wedding party... in the shape of leg irons. Verra kewl.

Slightly less blatant, but my ex wife/subbie was my chauffer. I don't particularly like driving, and so she always did the driving when we went out together. No biggie there ... but what did raise eyebrows was that she would open the passenger door for me, let me sit in before she closed my door and then went to the driver's door to get in and drive me where I wanted. :)

Hi BdsmVirgin-or have you changed name yet?

Many years ago I remember a group in London, I believe, who had a small crook-handle cane as a lapel badge.
The idea seemed to be that you exchanged details with another member...or something like that. I don't recall if it caught on. I never had one...which was a pity.
Perhaps we could have own site badge-what do you think would be suitable?

thanks for the welcomes guys. See the thing is.. I didn't think it was that big of a deal you know? Is it really THAT obvious? I really bought them cuz i thought they were soo cute. haha. They are pretty discreet handcuffs too ;) they're not too huge lol. :) And Tojo I might just like getting the evil eye hehe.
But yeah what's funny is that they went on to lecture me about "being careful" out there. All this stuff about how I have developed into a "Stunning" woman in the past six months. Something about how other women will judge me by my exterior and think im a mean person :( It was odd really. And at the end before I left she said: keep away from that bondage stuff ;)

lol either ways , no I haven't changed my name Edmund. I'm too lazy at the moment. I'll do it sometime soon.
hmm what should our badge be.... so many options... haha im not too original. Maybe a whip that's in the shape of a handcuff? lol yes lame. But what would you like it to be?

You take your time before changing your name BV! No sense rushing it.

Actually there's been a lot of debate re what 'we' should wear as a badge to signify our interest.

All I know is if I saw you wearing those earrings, you'd know in an instant what I was into, no words required. A look can say a million things. :hubba:

You'll find heather_21....ALL doms are dangerous.......especially when they have a riding crop in their hands.

Now I wouldn't call that dangerous... just a loving attention for discipline.

What about all the unattached subs wearing r/l collars with "D" rings?
And the Dom/Dommes carrying coiled up leads?
See one you like and you might just click.

Oh don't be sorry for wanting to learn, R/L = real life. As opposed to online fun.

Ask away, you'll find us falling over each other to share our knowledge. :)

As for finding someone to teach, watch out for the weirdos, pick your 'teacher' very carefully. Apparently I bite....

Edmundo, usually the collar means s/he's already attached. The lack of a leash probably just means s/he's doing the master's bidding. LOL

Besides... it's pretty obvious.

Let's find something subtle yet thrilling.

there is that whatchamacallit, the symbol that looks like a yin-yang, but in thirds not halves?
Isn't that suppposed to be a BDSM symbol?
now that's subtle, nobody who didn't already know what it meant would possibly make a kinky association with it. Although not that thrilling.

the Triskellion (http://members.aol.com/quagmyr/is.htm). In case anybody is totally baffled by my rather vague descriptors in the previous post.

I understood vistana. I thought about that too, but it's the common sigil of bdsm. I was hoping for something used by bdsmlib members... perhaps incorporating the pierced-triskellion. I'm still contemplating it.

However... I'm in the market for certain items. A signet ring. An italian charm. Possibly a keychain.

Does anyone know of any merchants, online or off... that carry any of the above items bearing a pierced-triskellion. Leave a message here or PM me.

Thanx

Personally, Given the current attraction to Goth, and Punk running rampant in schools, I wouldnt think the earrings would have called all that much attention. After the 80's... you would think they would worry less about that.

Who remembers the belts that had the 'cuffs?

We have a 16 yr old daughter, with what walks around the halls in High Schools now, 'cuff earrings are the least of the worries. Around here.. If a teacher asked that question, the reply might make her blush..:faint::evil:
:super: :1850:

Christ, with the piercings and clothing that the kids wear.. We were wondering if the Media Center was teaching Porn: How to make it your future

I actually think that's really weird, BDSM Virgin. I'm not a customer myself, but thanks to a couple lovely girls in my life, I spend more than my fair share of time in Claire's--targeted at 4-12 year olds, and they have plenty of collars/chokers, handcuffs, and cherries. I don't think they even mean anything anymore. (Actually, I have bought stuff there for a little fun kink, and cheap!) Also weird that they brought up bondage. Handcuffs could mean anything, and for most teenagers, would mean anti-authority. Why make it sexual? Whatever.

I would also be interested in links to triskellion jewelry. The link vistana provided included some jewelry, but I'd like to see more.
