Sometimes when I log into the forum I have problems with slow loading pages. Occasionally they just time out. I have a high speed connection and have not experienced this on other sites, even those with ad-heavy pages. Is this just my computer or has anyone else experienced this? If so, any advice you can give me on addressing the issue will be much appreciated. Thanks.

It happens from time to time ... my guess is it is either when the server is realy bussy or you have more than just library running on your PC (?) ...
not much help - i know, just ... so you know it is not just you ;)

it's been happening to me the last few days too, quite a bit. i don't have problems with any other sites either. *shrugs*

The story page is the main part of the site ---and we are exceeding more than 2 million hits there a day. we are also number one on google search if you type in BDSM stories ----at peak load times it tends to slow the server down

I'm glad to know it's not just me that's slow loading. I can add that it's not only this site that has been slow to load. In fact, I'm hard pressed to think of any site that has loaded quickly lately.
Hate sound alarmest but perhaps it would be wise to get important things saved someplace outside of being stored in the compuer ... just in case there is trouble's brewing on evil minds somewhere.
Better safe than sorry and I've copied things of what's important and now I have spares safey held outside of what's at possible risk inside...

sounds ominous ---but thing are backed up ---and we are on a brand new state of the art server ---so not to worry here
