A hopefully happy topic where people cna express themselves over how their partner(s) make them feel.. In your current (or most recent, or even your first) BDSM or D/s relationship, what is the thing you are most thankful for that you got from your partner?
In my case, I've had a long-term online Goddess. We don't get to talk nearly as much as we'd like to, geographical distance prevents us from being closer, and we're more or less prepared to go our seperate ways as friends, if the time should be right. I'm thankful to her for many things, not the least of which is doing an absolutely massive amount of opening my eyes to the entire lifestyle. She's been great at helping me explore as a sub, and also helpful in terms of serious discussions about my ideas as a switch. But perhaps the thing I'm most thankful to her for showing me is that being a submissive male in no way makes me any less of a man. There's nothing non-masculine about worshipping the ground your women walks on, literally or figuretively. I'm no less of a man for giving her the gift of my submission. Perhaps her helping me to see that being a submisive as a male is "okay" is the thing I am most thankful for.
Timberwolf - You are correct and your Domme was/is correct about the masculinity of a male submissive.
I know of a male who is 6 feet 6 inches, easlily 250 pounds, and all muscle. Guy is a regular gladiator looking adonis type. His Domme is a lithe petite 120lbs maximum gal of maybe 5 feet 5 inches. I have had the pleasure of seeing them interact together in public. She has held his breath with her hand on his throat. Mind you, her fingers bairely reach across the font of his neck. Even so, he stops breathing. When she lets go, and he looks at her. It is quite clear of his devotion and submission to her. I know for certian he would yank the spine from your skull should someone attempt to harm her in any way. He is in no way shape or fourm not masculine.
On to what I am thankfull for - My submissive/wife is a jewl, she has given me the gift of her love/devotion/submission each meshed to the other. I have leanred most of what I know about the lifestyle due to her. So I am thankfull for simply having her in my life. For without her, I do not know what path I would have taken.
To my wife: Thank you.
Very / Respectfully
with total devotion and love in return

Slam dunk easy: He's the first person who believed in me and had faith in me. Even when I didn't believe in myself, he believed in me and encouraged me. I'll always be grateful for that.

I am so thankful that for whatever reason; fate, luck, the good Lord: I was put in the right place at the right time for my Joe to find me. It has been the most amazing 16 months of my life. I have learned so much about myself and about love and submission. I have someone that understands how to control me. Someone that knows how to be my best friend, lover, and dominant. He is my everything and I plan to be forever grateful for this wonderful gift I have been given.

Thank You Master for being here for me.....and loving me.

I am the pillar you anchor yourself to. I am the strength you draw from. I am the voice that calms you. I am the touch that makes you weak in the knees, I am the answer to your prayers. I am the dream you wake up to. I am the smile that melts your heart. Submissivewife.... I am your master..and very soon I will come to collect on the debt life owes me, You my pet, are my payment. I love and cherish you forever. I scream to all the world that I claim you as mine.

OH hell firm...you made me blush again!
Oh well geez OK- I'm thankful I met katie, & remembered how to feel things again. I've felt the extremes of happiness & sadness like never before.
To spend an hour on the phone or chatting with her puts a smile on my face that hurts- I have to push my face back into place before I face my wife.

I am grateful and happy for My pita. I spent 15 years waiting and looking and now "together" means I have finally achieved myself. It is a liberating feeling I've wanted for years ... the icing on the cake is that she says it is the same.
And I certainly agree that there's nothing un-masculine about being submissive. I happen to be dominant but look forward to a day or two of switch so I can experience, as best I can, what it is like. Sometime, TWolf, you should ask your mistress to switch with you so you have a new appreciation of how damn much work it is to do the dom thing properly!
I am, however, VERY willing .... :-)

Believe me, I know it's work. But it's the good kind of work of course, the kind that can leave you feeling so fulfilled... when someone gives you the gift of submission, that's a lot to be handed.

My Evan recently asked me to switch with him, and it turns out we are both happier this way! We would have never known had he not basically challenged me to try. So what am I most thankful for? The gift of his mastery for 5 months, followed by the even greater gift of his submission!

I'm thankful for a happy mistress. :)
The love of my man, woman and family. For me, the rest is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.
