Happy Saturday, Everyone!

It's a beautiful day here in Ohio - the kind that you wish could be had every day. i have my windows opened, the breeze is delightful, and i just feel wonderful.

i hope you all are enjoying your day and are making the most of what you have. It's really all about the little things - the sweet memories, the giggles, the warm smiles.

My son has two projects for school. One for Biology is taking care of a slug: learning about its feeding habits, watching how it acts, and the most important thing...keeping it alive. YIKES! This is a three week project and i've looked at that slug a million times already. i guess that's the mom in me.

The second project is a writing assignment for his English class. He needs to write a poem, edit it, and keep working on it for a full two weeks. It had me thinking about my love of poetry, hence the Haiku subject. :)

i thought it would be fun to share with each other some of the things that make us smile, feel good, or just titillate the senses.

lace curtains billow
delicious breezes play tag
framing puffs of white

Enjoy your day and make it the best one yet.

Very nice, wildhoney. Many people are not aware that haiku should contain some sort of seasonal reference as yours did.

May I offer one in keeping with the theme of our site?

Breasts to bark she waits
her back flushed with autumn's glow
the fall of the lash

alone, on the web,
drops of sensitivity

Surfing naked, oh
what a secret thrill only
in the summertime

Thank you, everyone, for sharing such beautiful words. Each of your offerings are so clear. i'm enjoying them all.

i hope you've all been smiling and having a great day.

Warm glow of moonlight
orange like the changing leaves
fireflies dancing

Thank you, boccaccio2000g. Yes, that was the original intent of haiku. It's fun trying to get that little slice to say so much, yet have such a tiny grouping of syllables.

On pins and needles
Waiting for mail from Mistress
Is that a message?

the swishing of air
leather tendrils striking skin
heated blush, sweet moan.

Thank you, kittenfemme. Waiting is the difficult part.

Loved the Haikus guys, but feeling melancholy today

a cold summer's day
loneliness without his touch
falling tears, chilled heart

Patient and quiet
Blindfolded and bound tightly

The rope sits dormant
Coiled behind my closet door
I miss my Mistress

So, the Irish version:

There was a young lass from Decateur,
Who was often called a masterbater,
She fingered herself for hours on end
Until her lover done ate her.

LOL

Bruceboxer,

It would be fun to start a limerick thread. I'll add to that.
I love limericks.

Gagged, my limbs tied tight
My eyes wide, my back arched high
Waiting for the blade

Using the holiday time to catch up--lovely haiku--my sub TZ loved this one--knife play being her deepest desire.

There is no such thing
As too many orgasms
Given by Master

:D

(I took some liberty with the word orgasms with syllable count - sue me. ;) )

Did you hang the moon?
Did you put the stars in the sky?
You're my everything

Beneath the lotus
moon, you fastened the collar.
I wore it, and stars.
