Who do you write for? And why?

I used to write for the audience. Always trying to figure out what they would want to read about. Then, I started here and you taught me to write for myself. What I would want and like. Once I stated doing that it was soooo much easier to write.

I have written some of my stories with my dom(s) in mind. Using their charactoristics and their "methods or madness" in my stories. But I write about what I like, using their personalities.

My recent story was writen for me really. I could come up with a story and Master suggested writing about a Princess that needs to be recued. Instantly, ideas were running through my mind. I had to get off the phone then and start writing. That piece only took an hour and a half to write. This piece was soley for my benefit and with only me in mind. Not only does everyone seem to like it (which I hope is genuine), but writing this was therapudic.

I really write for myself. I generally write stories that I'd like to read. As far as BDSM I like consensual hard stories. There are few of those around that are well written and credible; so I figure I might as well write them myself. This may be selfish, maybe some more people will be inspired to write more of these type of stories and I can read them.

Seriously, I always wanted to write, but never dared. When I wrote my first story in level one, and I read subwife's comments on it, I realized I could actually write, and did.

This is a bit tougher. I would say that I write for others first, and then myself. i am learning that the trip is about the people, not about me. One of my most popular stories is one that I do not even know if it works. I put a lot of effort into it and I know that I will never enjoy it the way I do other of my stories, but other people do. That is enough for me.

"write for others, write for yourself, write for the pure joy of it. The important thing is to write." Of course if you want it to be read...
write for others to read and understand.:)

MadSure, you can do all that. Or you can can be cliche (sans acccent) and just write on.

I know. That was lame. I like lame. Especially when women are lame. 'Cause they can't escape!
