I've always been writing a lot so I thought it was wonderfull when I found this site, combining my two greatest interests in life. I have two stories which I've yet to feel are optimised enough to be released. But I will when I feel brave enough. I've just emerged from a six year long relationship. We where even married. She was submissive and I was dominant. She was the woman of my dreams I thought, but somehow we still managed to fuck it up anyway.
Amazing how only strong love just isn't enough. All the little boring practical details are just as important. that's enough whining for one post. I'll get straight to cleaning up my stories and posting them.

Thanks for all your suport here. This really does seem to be a very friendly place. I felt at home straight away.
...and the break up is not at all as bad as I made it sound. We still love each other and we still have great sex, which is amazing considering the long six years we've had with each other. We just can't live together. She has needs that I because of my work can't fulfill and she feels neglected and pissed off, which only makes me aggravated. Finally both of us realised that combining work with being married to each other just doesn't work for us. We're both full time professionals and have very different interests.
When it comes to comunication I think we've managed to keep it open and honest without both of us having to give up our own identities. That's probably what's kept the love alive all these years. Emotionally it could have been a lot worse for me, and probably the full impact won't hit me until she's out the door, which will happen October 1'st.
Now I can focus on my passion for writing without feeling like I'm neglecting anybody, which is a great feeling.
thanks for your suport everybody.

I`m glad to hear that you two have worked things out to the best. Its good that you love eachother still. Great sex... Yay! Even better :p
I hope october the 1`st will go smoth and wish you good luck with the changes in your life.
Now, writing.... that`s something we always love seeing more of here. Have you spotted the competition going on btw? This is the last day of voting before the poll close, but you might want to go have a look at the stories there. I for sure have a hard time deciding where to put my vote, lol.

I've yet to come up to speed of what everything is here on the forums. This is a huge place. I've mostly spent my time reading old stuff. I'll check out the competition and cast my vote.

Greetings Tom and welcome to the forums...i was happy to read that you and your wife are still "friendly lovers" but were both intelligent enough to know that sometimes two people...no matter how much they care for each other....just can't live together.
I am looking forward to reading some of your stories...hurry, though, or our friendly family may feel very neglected. ~giggles~

Even though this is my first BDSM novells I have always done a lot of writing. The first one is completly ready, but I like to let it lie a couple of weeks before looking though it again. I feel that it's better to sort of forget it a bit a look at it through fresh eyes. If it passes then, then I'll upload it. The second one needs a lot more rewriting. I'm quite a slow and carefull writer. I can rewrite the same page many times before feeling that it's what I want to say. Anyhoo, enough of this rambling. I'm off to bed now.

It is lovely that you have so little bitterness as you speak about your marriage, and I do hope that is real and will continue.
And now welcome to this family. Am pleased you got your registration issues sorted and are now ready to jump in with both feet and enjoy the fun.

Yes, Rabbit was very helpful. A lot more than site moderators generaly are. This is an extremly friendly place and I think that has a lot to do with Rabbit being so helpful to us lost newbies.
Being bitter never helped anyone. As I see it, all experiences in relationships are at worst very educational. Identifying what went wrong and being atentive about not repeating earlier misstakes I think is why I'm never bitter. All relationships are good, even the bad ones.
