It would be nice to find someone who is geographically close to you, to start such a journey. But not all have that joy. Besides there are wonderful pros of engaging in an online relationship first, and build strong trust through phone and other ways before plunging into a physical/contact relationship. Although depending on how long you've known the person and/or if you are ready to take that huge step forward.

Learn what you can before you begin the journey of finding a submissive. Trust and respect need to be earned as well as taking a good look at yourself and seeing if you have what it takes. The nurturing side, as well as the strict hand. Would be wise to talk to some of the other Dom/Dommes here as well.

Along the tool bar of the box into which you enter text is a capital A with a bar beneath it. Highlight the text you wish to have a different colour, click on that A and select the colour of your choice.
