One lonly night,
two souls,
bruised, battered, and broken,
met in the still deadness of night
Without ever a word spoken between
One cried out to be woken,
From a terror filled night.
One girl with a warning lable answered his cry
And on that dark night two untrusting souls
Learned the first lessons of trust.
One dark lonly night, an hour beyond midnight,
A Soldier lay sleeping, reliving the terror,
The horror he'd witnessed,
At the end of his innocnces.
That same very night,
A women yet child,
A child without a childhood,
Runs down a darkend path,
Trying to out run the past.
Not very good. And it definatly needs work. I might write more but knowing myself the way I do I'll probably forget this and start something else...
