View Full Version : My Resignation

This will be my last thread in the announcements forum. I'm resigning my position as admin here and going back to being just one of the regular pervs. I simply don't have the time to give the site the attention it deserves. I'm not worried at all though. You all have a great new admin and the best mod team I've ever seen. I have enjoyed being a part of the staff here and I'd like to thank all of you for giving me a fun and easy job for a little while.

Thanks for all the work that I'm sure goes into making this place run the way it does, we do appreciate it from you and all those folk who devote their time to it.
I was wondering about your time management skills Aesop.
Much as I'd love to be a mod here (!) there's no way I'd be able to do it.
You've done a great job- part of the reason this forum is so good now is because of your efforts.
So does this mean we can stop being nice to you now??

Both sorry and glad Aesop.
Sorry that we will be loosing the benefit of you on the bridge, and many many thanks for all you have done for the site, and the personal encouragment you gave when I needed it.
But, congratulations on moving onto the next phase of your life, whatever that may be. I wish you joy and success in your activities and relationships both in 'real life' and 'on line'.
Hugs
cariad
Thanks for all your help, advice and admin skills on here, Aesop, I hope you enjoy your regular perv retirement.
All the best,

Ahhh this is a sad, sad day. I'll miss him greatly as my mentor here at the forums. My heart is heavy, but glad he has lightened his load some.
Love you Daddy

Though too new a user to know anyone here intimately, I know this forum loses a great "boss" today. I echo others though, when I say I am glad to see you're not leaving completely. From what I have seen of your posts I believe you chose your nick wisely and accurately.
Hope that in the time to come, we will all benefit from your wisdom.

*looks up at Aesop with big sad eyes* I'll miss your guidance here...I already feel lost.
You've shaped this place, helped it grow and worked your ass off so that we have a cosy home to come to. I can only hope we'll live up to your legacy.
I'm glad you'll stay here as a member, though. And maybe now you'll have the time to add to your invaluable tips...;)
*standing ovations for a job well done*

Aesop, I am glad to hear you are merely retiring. Cause, I havn't gotten to know ye as much as I'd like, and ye are certainly on my list of folks to stalk (did I say stalk.. whoops! I mean hunt? hrmm...) someday and get to know better :)
