I wish when I was 18 I had known what it was that I needed. This is a great place to start exploring and perhaps putting a little meat onto the bones of your fantasies. Aesop’s tips at the top of the Knowledge Base are good, and ‘wannabees’ at the top of Fun and Games is worth reading too.
