View Full Version : Scarification
Ok, I know everyone has thier fetish, and scarification is a fetish. One that has been discussed here I believe. I can understand the desire for scarification. However I came across a link that for me was rather difficult to see.
**Caution not for those of a weak stomach**
Enjoy the link, and I would love to hear everyones thoughts.

Okay well that was a bit graphic. I would like to see what it looks like when it is finished healing. I guess it is to each his own. I wouldn't mind a scar or brand if it was something that meant alot to me and my Dom. I wouldn't tattoo my whole back just like I wouldn't scar my entire back.

Indeed, very graphic and not my thing I'm afraid. If it floats your boat well, go for it. But nah fuck that!

That was a bit much but i did love the end result.
I have often considered branding, illegal in this country, but i have a little creme brulee gun....~wanders off to find some copper wire~

Personally i would love something like that. I have some scars but they dont look as pretty as that. dont think i would want something that big tho but a small one would be nice. One i could do myself

Exactly how do you prevent infection for something that huge and that deep? I hope she sleeps on her stomach.

*shudders*
Not something I could do (admittedly almost lost it looking at it). The end result is amazing though.

wow...
I think the most impressive part of that picture is how she looks totally calm, sitting there chatting and drinking.

Its not a deep cut so it should heal relatively quickly. You would just cover it to keep it free from infection however it would be quite painful for a while, cuts like that tend to sting quite a lot.

My thoughts are I hope she has great health insurance.
Wouldn't want to look at that everyday but nothing turns my stomach quicker that a woman's bare tits pressing on my back.

yea wow. And even bigger WOW with the thought of infection. That is some crazy wound healing and monitoring that needs to be done. I can only think back to all the wound care I have done and thinking about the healing stages and what could go wrong with that much open skin, even if covered and proper care given, still makes me worried.

That's Amazing!
That's Spectactular!
That's Scary!
The pain receptors on your back are farther apart and so the sensations are less intense. Everyone has their own pain tolerence index and pain that some people would find debilitating would pose no hinderence to others. Healing would be just like any 'open wound'.
The healed bamboo grove is interesting, add some coloration and it could be very beautiful.

OK...I was really grossed out by the first couple pics...but you know..the last couple really look cool. I'm not that brave...but really it looks cool.
I have mixed feelings about that - all of the pics besides the one showing the pieces of skin (ew!) were really cool! But... if you're going to get a huge scar on your back, why the hell would you choose that design? If I were to get a fucking huge ass scar on my back I'd get a fire breathing dragon or something, damn lol.

I thought it was cool... Though I have to agree with Frankee on the pic of the potatoe-peel-look-a-like pieces of skin...
Also: hats off to the chickadee for going through with it, agreeable design or not ;)

I seem to be in tune with almost everyone here, I wouldn't want something that big or that design, and the peeled-off skin looked grosse. That said, I do like the way it looks on this woman. We might think that she did it to be sure she would get what she wants; a bamboo cane across her back.
If ever I should do something like that, I would have to go with what's connected to my belief; a dragon.
I also agree that it might be improved on, with some colours.

Oddball accident
From today's paper
A German construction worker, Mr. August Vogl, was involved yesterday in an unhappy accident. Standing on a rooftop where his work was needed, he lost his balance, and tumbling over, he accidentally caught the trigger of his steel nail pistol with his finger. It went off, and the impact hit one of his testicles, sending a 4-inch nail through his pants and then nailing his left ball to an upright plank in the roof. When the medics arrived, the man was standing immobile, still nailed. They managed to disconnect him and he is going to be all right.
I sure hope so. ;-)

To each his/her own, but ewwwwwwwwww for me. I wonder about infection also as it looks like it would be hard or impossible to bathe.

I did think it was a lovely design at the end but uuuurgh the lumps of skin... certainly couldn't do it (and same feeling as tatoos for me - what if you get bored with it?)
Is that Uncle Ed on the front page?
