As you can see, although my kitten is really cute (now who could resist those big pleading eyes looking up at them through the bars?) , the picture is really too big. I've tried cropping it, and I tried saving it, I thought, on a smaller canvas size (I'm using a free editor that goes by the wonderful name of Gimp) - but it still comes up too big.

Can anyone help me out to reduce it to a sort of normal avatar size, please?

Thanks :)

Oh thank you thank you thank you! look it works - well of course it does! :) :) :) How did you do that? (after all, I might want to change it at some time in the future and I don't want to keep bothering other people?). Mind you, that may be a more complex support question than could easily be answered here...

I used a photo editing program called ACDSee Pro ---and just resized the photo

it is not hard if you have the right tools ---it took less than a minute to do

and you are very welcome:wave:

I use IrfanView for these things. It is free and very easy to use. If you wish to use it and need any help with a short guide to how to, just pm me.
