I'm on a bit of a roll here, hope no-one feels I'm inundating them. Course, you can always choose not to read, so why do I worry?

Just look
Don’t touch
One inch would be too much
Just smile
and think
about the missing link

Fear
of letting out the beast
Fear
of turning down the feast

Just be
Don’t cry
Despite the years gone by
Just laugh
Don’t frown
Your turn will come around

Fear
of letting someone in
Fear
of letting life begin

Just wish
and say
you’re happy anyway
Just sing
and sleep
and dream of love to keep

Joy
of letting loose the heart
Joy
of letting fear depart

If anyone complains about poetry being posted in the poetry forum we'll spank em, moptop! Another really great piece, again I'm in awe of how much you can say in just a few words, and how elegently!

moptop you can never post too many of your writings to suit me. I have liked all I have read. I may not always say something but know you are appreciated. Thanks for this one and keep them coming.

Oh guys, I'm really touched! As I'm sure you know, especially if you write yourselves, there is nothing like being appreciated. It is always a bit scarey, putting something so personal up for review, and getting positive feedback is so encouraging.

EB - great avatar.

BTW - I'm just going to post my first into the erotic poetry section. I've never written an erotic poem before (or at least, not on purpose!), so I hope it gives pleasure.
