tangled, bound by sheets
I startle awake
opening my eyes to be
gripped by darkness
nostrils flare as I struggle
than suddenly cease
he has come
I can smell his heat
the scent of his skin
it is no longer a dream
as he grabs my hair
and yanks me to him
His word a breadth of growl
as I am sheathed,
drowning
in a roaring heartbeat
of sensation
as our skin electrifies
nerve endings
intensified by a sudden sting
to full blown engulfing heat
my mouth opens in silent scream
and tears begin their journey
complete
