Just curious...

I'm almost 45 years old and have had a very active sex life. I read a lot of the stories here and on other sites and always read about how these women get so wet that they are dripping and running down their legs. I've known some women to get very very wet, but I'll be damned if I can ever remember anyone getting "that wet". Does this actually happen?

It has happened to me on occasion, yes....but i think you are right, i don't think it is all that common......the only times it has ever really happened is if have been prevented from cumming for a period of time but been continually teased etc...which obviously presents a combo of being SO horny and gravity doing its thing as i just go about my daily life....make any sense?

There are a lot of factors that affect it, though. Biology, for instance. How wet does each, individual woman'd pussy get? Genetics: Does a more or less wet pussy run in the family history? Psychology: Is she very freely open about her sexuality or is she cautious and conservative?

All of those factors can affect how wet a woman gets. Also, the frequency of her sex can affect it, as can her amount of orgasms, etc.

Mostly, though, it's just boilogical. Some women get really, really wet and others don't.

i am inclined to agree TG on this one. Personally speaking, i am naturally very, very wet, even when i'm not turned on....to the point of actually feeling the warm moisture gushing to soak my pants (or skirt or whatever it may be at the moment). And when i masturbate, i will actually soil the area where i sit or lie. Yes, i do drip, and quite often...though i am very healthy sexually. i have had lovers tell me they can fell me squirt. Perhaps too much information, but i guess i'm just one of the lucky girls. But not all women are like that and some even have difficulty becoming moist when sexually stimulated.

i also believe it has to do with the time of the month as well. i have discovered that i am my wettest a week or so before my period, around the time of ovulation, which would make sense in theory, and then after my menstral cycle, i am not quite as moist.

Another factor could be the amount of fluid that a woman intakes. When i go a week drinking nothing but sodas, i find that my moisture down there decreases, but when i drink a lot of water and juices, it increases.

That's just my take on it, as a woman. Hopefully it helped some...

During ovulation, many women do produce much larger amounts
of the natural secretions, some to the point of its running down their legs. Women who practice the rhythm method of birth control use this as a gauge to help them verify their cycle. If a woman is lucky enough to be very regular and also has these signs, (plus a husband with good self control) rhythm works.
The added moisture makes it fun to try other things in that warm very wet area since the partner can't try it.

It's fiction.

Are you like one of those guy's who sits there during the movie. "Oh look. Did you see that??? You could see the cables pulling that guy up. Oh- oh and there's the shadow from the boom! Awww-man, I can't believe I paid nine bucks to see this."

"Why is everyone get so excited when they see a woman's pussy drip. I mean faucets drip all the time. Usually you call a plumber to fix that right away.

Now here's what get's me excited, calling a plumber to come over and fix your woman's dripping pussy. Watching him all bent over with butt crack peeking above his jeans as he takes a pipewrench and tightens that pussy up a few notches. Now that my friends is the makings of a porn story."

I guess in reality it doesn't happen as frequent as in the stories, but from personal experience I can affirm that my thighs get quite sticky from my own juice when I'm very excited. I haven't checked if it correlates with my monthly cycle but what red~vixen said sounds logic.

The wetness you referred to is the secretion of a lubricant from a set of glands that are located on either side of the vulva. Women actually have two kinds of glands called the greater (Bertholin's) and lesser (Skene's) vestibular glands. These differ in size in different women. Skene's glands are the female equivalent of the prostate, while Bertholin's glands are the female equivalent of Cowper's glands. All these glands provide lubrication for intercourse.

What stimulates the activity of these glands is the brain. Foreplay, fantasy, whatever gets you thinking about sex, as well as the physical sensations experienced in foreplay, the anticipation of any kind of sexual activity including bdsm. This is why getting in the mood, however you do it, is so important for the comfort and pleasure especially of the woman during the sexual act.

As lady members have already told us, the amount of lubrication can vary a lot at different times in the menstrual cycle. Women who are sexually inactive early in life sometimes have trouble getting these glands to start working properly. Bertholin's glands can get infected and if they do, afterwards they may not function properly. I think this is relatively rare. Partners who are free from communicable diseases can use saliva as a substitute lubricant. It works well. The use of artificial lubricants can sometimes cause an allergic reaction, in which case the users should change to another type.

Male lubrication works in a very similar way. The transparent lubricant from Cowper's gland can be produced in copious quantities by some men, even during continuous arousal over a period of hours. What many women do not appreciate is that men also need psychological preparation in order to enjoy sex more. Ejaculation can and often does occur without much in the way of sexual gratification, especially if the partner regards the masturbation of a male partner as a purely mechanical process. The buildup to sexual pleasure in the male involves thoughts and sensations, just as it does in a female. It also involves lubrication. It is far more effective to caress around the genitals than grab the obvious part and jerk at it. The feel of woman's touch is so different from their own that in itself it is arousing. Stroking around the scrotum and the lower part of the penis heightens anticipation. It works.

So ladies, take your time. Do everything to get him in the mood, and keep him there. Don't rush it, however desperate he seems. What you are working him up to is an orgasm, and if you get it right, ejaculation ought to occur at about the same time. By itself ejaculation can reduce sexual tension, and even his blood pressure usually drops afterwards, that does not meen that it was the ultimate sexual experience.

To the men, always remember to give your partner the time to get properly lubricated, and tease her mind as well as her body. You do nobody any favours by getting stuck right in.

My partner, before she stopped taking estrogen, was ALWAYS wet, and was easily aroused to the point of dripping. During foreplay, by her fourth or fifth orgasm, we needed a towel.

[I have found that the best way to become aroused myself is to get my partner off 8 or 10 times. She'll be ready.... and so will I!]

From my experience it can vary quite a lot within individual women (different times, moods, etc.) let alone between women, though as we all get older there is a tendency for everyone to dry up a little. In terms of stories, it is like easing into latex clothing or buckling up a collar, it is not actually like that in real life, but as it says on the top of this website, this is a location for fantasy and a story in which it takes the Dom half-an-hour to get into their latex catsuit and gets talc everywhere and then another ten minutes to get the tongue in the right place on their sub's collar and their sub is bone dry and not at all excited may be realistic, but not too much fun to read. Women getting wet is a shorthand to show what is going on. I must say I have never read a story in which the man has pre-cum appearing, despite being pretty common.

I personally observed this event only once ....
on one morning, some years ago, I had planned an SM session with my slave caroline and had invited one of my best friends to join me in submitting her.
We had her naked and borught her up in the barn, where we placed her on a low table, on her elbows and knees, legs apart, head down and ass lifted up, ready to receive a good whipping and our cocks soon after.
Well, I heard the sound of a ritmic dripping of water on a wooden surface: I found out immediately that there were actual drops of wetness dripping form her well lifted pussy on to the wooden surface behind her...
I immediatley drew the attention of my friend to these regards, using quite trivial expressions and he replied with some very rude remark about our slave, who flushed in humiliation while, to her dismail, the dripping only increased in frequency :)

As you can imagine, our plays were particularly hot that morning.

It's like other musocus membranes: being dehydrated, drinking alcohol, or taking antihistamines can diminish lubrication. Also, according to Sue Johanson, the host of the Canadian program "Talk Sex," once a woman gets to the plateau stage, right before orgasm, she actually stops lubricating, which can be a problem if you practice extended arousal or female orgasm denial.

It has been my experience that the times I'm dripping is when there is no genital stimulation, just anticipation, which supports Spitman's comment that the brain controls lubrication.

Well Mr Jersey Guy,
I'm out to inform you that, when my sub is infact allowed to watch me tie her up in front of full length mirrors she ALWAYS is wet to her knees.
She is 6 years older than I, and informed me before we were married that she thought she'd eventually dry up. So, not the case!

Cheers ;)
