I was just wondering How many submissives have there Master/Mistress mark.....as in a tattoo or branding??

If so Where is it located on your body??

What is it? ( meaning there initals a picture or?? )

Did You bring up the topic about wanting to have there mark on your body or did they just let you know you would be having their mark??

Is it okay to express your interest in wanting their mark??


I have been with my Sir for a long time now but here lately we both have started the BDSM lifestyle as in 24/7.......and We both are loving it very much.......and i want to express my interest in having a tattoo of something he chooses or his initals where only he and i know what it means.......

I am not wanting to run to the tattoo shop tonight or anything like that i know this is something very serious and has to be well thought out because it is permanent.

I don't have any tatts. (at this point) Personally, I would NEVER get someone's mark permanently on my skin. There is just too many things that can happen that would make that tatt, which was once special, turn into something painful. I think, and hypothetical only, if i were to get a mark of some sort, for someone other than myself, that it would have to be a design and not initials.

With tatts in general, i'm not a fan of them however. I want just one, (though even in my own head, i waffle on this, hence not having it yet) and it'll be in a place where it won't stretch.

when reading the book The Story of O it turned me on like nothing before I fantasise about being branded but weather i would do it , well i just dont know. I have heard about having a black rose tattoed on ones shoulder to show that u are some ones slave but i think it applies more to female subs and their

To answer the initial post, I have an ownership tattoo (words including my Mistress's name) located on my pubic area very close to the base of my penis.

I'm not entirely sure how it was first raised as an idea. I think it was something we both talked about and liked in kinda fantasy terms at first... and as time went by it became more and more something that felt real and desirable.

Of course there exists the possibility that one day it might be a source of awkwardness (although I reckon if I grew my pubes it would be pretty well hidden :) ) but still not regretted I think....

I think something symbolic could be very cool (not in a relationship right now, and new to all this, so it's just theoretical for me) but I have heard that some tattoo artists won't put couple's names on each other because it's bad luck for the relationship. I know one artist who broke her own rule against doing it, and the the couple, good friends of hers, were split city a couple of months later (I mean, just think about Roseanne Barr and Tom Arnold - they were OK until the tats! : ) I'm not really superstitious, but I'm not tempting fate!

I definately like the idea of a tattoo, but then again it would be a permanent thing and something to really think about doing on the fly.
I have always wanted to just register myself as a slave and have a tattoo of that number on myself. But as for a mark for a Dominant, I had considered getting pierced and being tagged. At least the piercing would not have to be a permanent thing.

they only reason they are done with ink is that the guy that did the hot iron branding is no longer doing it.
if he was then my 2 would feel the kiss of the hot iron on their thigh..

Yes they are forever, which is why I am so glad that I didn't get one. It will be a cold day in hell before I ever think about getting one for someone else again. At least you can throw away a collar.

i have a small light neat scar on each of my breasts that was done 2 yrs ago deliberately during play.

we had talked about it for quite some time first and didnt just do it on a whim,
the subject came up because we were discussing branding which was his idea
but for now were happy with the scars,they are his marks done with his own hands we both find them appealing and they're a lovely reminder of a special night.

Im a chicken about getting one but u can get one on your ankel like a rose vine thats a symbolof love so if it dont work out there r no names just memories
