A new member here. I am tip-toeing into your community of bdsm with a mix of excitement and trepidation. In the few visits I have made here to glance at forum posts, conversation threads and in general lurk just a bit I have begun to feel a little less anxious about admitting (mostly to myself) that I have rather strong bdsm desires. Admitting such a thing to oneself may seem like a rather small matter to those of you honest and secure enough to accept bdsm as a natural human desire/fetish, but it represents a very big thing for this newbie. I hope to eventually become comfortable enough with the community here that sharing thoughts and feelings about such intimate components of myself feels perfectly natural and normal. In the interim, thanks for accepting me into your community.

most sincerely, wweary

Hello wweary. Take heart, we all were in your shoes at one point and some of us (despite our advancing years and a touch of senility) can still remember what it was like. There are lots of friendly folk here who are anxious and willing to lend a hand, turn a sympathetic ear, or offer a bit of advice and encouragement when needed.

Hey, no reason to be quite so scared. Like everyone's said, we were all there once (some of us still are there:rolleyes: ), and this is a safe place for new people. No one will look poorly on you, from what I've seen. Just explore and post, whenever you're ready.

Hi wweary....

Have to chime in and agree with what everyone else has said so far! Take your time to get comfortable, look around, post when you are ready...

i was leary at first as well but, over 1,000 posts later i now have some wonderful new friends in my life and am finally getting to explore, in an open forum, what my submission means to me. Plus, people here are just fun!

So, since you made your first post you are on your way... enjoy and share as you wish. And as minxy said... if you have any questions ask! There are moderators, super mods, and Administrators (which the titles show up under their names on their posts if that will help you determine who is who) and that is why we are here... to help/answer questions, etc! Feel free to pm any of us by clicking on our names!

Hugssss!

Welcome!

:)

We are often hardest on ourselves as we try to live up to others' ideas of normalcy. Here, you will find a safe haven in which to explore your feelings as you learn what it is that makes you tick.

A belated welcome to you wweary101 and I hope that you will return to us and discover that we only bite when asked. Rumour has it that we are all human, although since we are headed up by a guy who calls himself Rabbit, that could be a debatable point.
