aching sanity
clinging desperately
trying to remain whole

fear and doubt
insidious whispers
raking through my heart

the Abyss calls
the deep end beckons
tearing me apart

BUT...

there amongst the ruins
hidden in the chaos
lies a tiny seed

a long lost dream
of love.... of hope...
and an echoed need...

amongst the broken pieces
lies the challenge
if we dare

to rearrange the pattern
and allow ourselves
to care.... again.
