This is another one from the archives. It comes from the time of a very happy vanilla relationship now ended. I'm going to attempt to post one each day until the archive runs out. If people like them I may pick up my pen again. Here it is take it or leave it. Yes, I am something of an incurable romantic.

No words that need to be said
Minds in total harmony
Plain instrumental symphony
of actions that tell of words unspoken
Love not shaped described just known
Simple silent nights spent in TV boredom
Serenity in each others arms
curled up in each others arms
all told by a heartbeat felt
Her head on my shoulder
Fallen hand lies on her thigh
Home with anothers presence
only one person in the room
sealed by the simple things
what's on, who's turn it is to make the tea
No effort to prove
No need for those three greatest of words
When everythings already been said
Now we just know
