well...some favourite positions:

1. tie her wrists together and pull her up till she is hanging by her wrists. then, slide a wooden hors (two planks making 60 degree or more angle, pretty sharp top anyway) and lower her onto it. then, spread her ankles and tie them to opposite ends of room.
a variation would be to put her on tiptoes, and place the horse so that when she tires, she has to sit on it. delicious.
another variation is to tie elbows and wrists VERY tightly, then pull back hair to elows, place on horse, attach nipple clamps and pull them away from body

2. make her kneel. tie elbows, wrists to the wall/floor. spread thighs reallly wide with rope. wrap a thinner , knotted rope around waist. bring throu pussy lips, and yank it up until she is forced up into a back arch...and then tie the rope off (See image)

3. titty tower to stretch out tits.

4. make her kneel. elbows, wrists tied, hair pulled back to elbows, nose hook pulling up. pass a rope around waist, through pussy front to back, pass over elbow rope. now, tie ankles to thighs, thereby putting her on kneetips. now tie off that crotch rope to her toes.

Here's a radical thought: Tie up yourself first!

Of course it's pretty hard to tie that final knot on yourself, but apart from that you can learn a great deal about knots and ropes on your own. Tying a person down with ropes can be downright dangerous and at least very painful if you don't know what you're doing. You need a fundamental knowledge of ropes vs. the human body before you can subject others to your masterful art.

Try tying your legs firmly together for several hours for starters. Crawl around to floor a lot, and you'll immediately know a lot more about what to do and what not to than any brief advice could teach you.

Good luck!

trying the Boy Scout Handbook. You can usually pick one up whereever they sell the uniforms for boy/cub/girl scouts. There should be knot tying info there. Or perhaps info about sailing. Or even a web search. (I haven't tried it, but there should be some info out there.)

I don't think that's very good advice - at least you need to explain what type of slipknot you're talking about, where and how to apply it, for how long, and what kind of rope should be used.

Might I humbly ask why the above pictures were removed? I looked through the code of conduct and could not locate anything on pictures, and I am a tad bit curious as to which rule was violated. Needless to say, I'd be quite understanding if those reasons could not be disclosed.

They had a copyright notice on them. There was a recent discussion on that topic, and it was determined that such pictures may not be posted. (unless the poster is the owner of the copyright I guess...)

Ah, thank you. It seems I looked over that when I read it-though you don't have to worry, I have no plans of posting pictures on the forums and therefore can't break the rule :)

A good comment about using knots from the Boy Scout Handbook. The basic knots, clove hitch, double half hitch, bowline, sheetbend, etc all have two characteristics. First, they hold. but even more important, they are easy to untie. The prinicple danger in bondage is that a ligature obstructs arterial blood flow or to a lesser degree that it obstructs venous return. The effect of obstructing arterial flow is obvious within a minute or two (whereas the venous obstruction takes a half hour or so to damage). The various forms of slip knots cause difficulties because they can be very difficult to untie once they are tight. If you have cut off aterial flow with a line tied with a slip knot you may have to cut the line with a knife or scissors quickly to prevent damage.

If you are a novice at this check with one of the old hands at the game (e.g. BDSM Tourguide) before trying something novel. I would not overly rely on the highly sophisticated rigs utilized by the pro for their highly posed photos. These are primarily designed for their photographic appeal. Talk things though extensively with your sub (a process called setting up a contract) and practice, practice, practice before moving on. Remember it does count how far you go but how much fun you have in getting there.

Above all, be safe.

The clove hitch is an easy and useful knot.

Take a length of rope, stand in front of a table and coil a loop of rope on the table. Then coil another, and then slip the second loop under the first loop. With practice you can do this very quickly.

This knot is excellent for wrists, ankles, breasts and (male subs) the ball sack. It doesn't loosen by itself unless the rope you use has no grip.

Many kinds of rope are absorbent and can transmit STD if stringent hygiene is ignored. Braided nylon rope can be soft and comfortable and is easy to clean, but can burn when it runs. Thick cotton rope is very comfortable but far too absorbent for good hygiene in group or SM play.

An excellent tie can be made from a Tee shirt. Lay the shirt on a table, and cut across just under the arms. Then cut off the hem. Then cut the remaining tube into three equal tubes. Roll each tube tightly from the edge to make what looks like a smooth rope loop. This is very flexible, but makes excellent ties, comfortable but strong enough for serious bondage play.

Use clove hitches in preference with this kind of tie. These loops can be used for a hog-tie and the great advantage is speed. You can complete the immobilisation of the sub literally in seconds, and get on with post bondage play.

Clove hitches made from Tee shirt loops can be used to 'capture' a slave by her wrist. A loop can be fed through a large body ring and then through itself for use as a leash. There are endless possibilities. A single loop can be used to make two clove hitches to secure a pair of slaves by their wrists, back to back, or a single slave's wrists with a bit of freedom for sexual play. You can also use these loops to secure a slave to a chair or a table, or stretch her out on a bed.

To stretch a girl out so that the more she struggles, the more she is stretched, you can use a self-tightening rig. This is for advanced users only. Do not try this on your own as if it goes wrong, you will remain totally helpless.

The self-tightening rig is made using two cam cleats, which are available from most boating shops or over the internet. Use a kind with a triangular plate, two cams and a steel loop acting as a rope guide. The rope goes through the rope guide and between the cams. You can pull it through, but it won't come back. For a bondage rig, run the rope through a steel ring between the rope guide and the cams. Tie a cord to the steel ring. You can pull on the ring to release the rope from the cams. This is your safety cord.

You will need a wooden frame, so you can screw the cam cleats in place. You will also need eight heavy duty screwable rings (also available from boat shops), two bungees say four foot long, about twenty feet of rope, and wrist and ankle cuffs.

Screw two of the rings onto the top corners of the wooden frame. Screw two more onto the middle of each upright, and two more on each upright at the bottom end. Fix the cam cleats onto the top end of each upright, just inside the screw rings, so the rope can run through the cams towards the screw ring.

The rope runs from, say a wrist cuff, up through the screw ring, down through the cam cleat, then down to just short of the bottom end of the frame when the cuff is as tight as it can go. The bungee goes from the middle screw ring, down and through one of the bottom rings, then up to the end of the rope. Make sure you don't forget the quick release cord. The bungee should be slightly stretched with the cuff as tight as it will go. Adjust the position of the rings to give the bungees the right amount of movement.

You will need short ropes, say two foot long, to attach the ankle cuffs to the fixed rings at the bottom end of the rig. Use separate rings from the ones the bungees go through.

To use the rig, the slave lies down with her arms and legs stretched out loosely. First fix the ankle cuffs stretching her legs as wide as you can. Release the rope from the cam cleat at one corner at a time and fasten that cuff to a wrist. Do not attempt to tighten the rope. There should be tension from the bungee, but the slave should have some freedom of movement.

Now you can start to play. With every movement she makes, a little of the rope will pass through the cams and she will be stretched a little more. You know how to get her moving! Eventually she will be stretched quite taut. To release her, pull the release cords to free the rope from one cam at a time, or simply unfasten the cuffs.

If you just sit there and watch, eventually she will not be able to help moving a little. After a while she might just stretch up into it, because that feels good. But then she will discover how tight and helpless she is. And in a little while, to her surprise, she will find that she can stretch just a little bit more. You need to have a lot of patience. Don't rush it.

Once again, do not try this on your own. Play safely! And never leave a bound slave on her own.
