Fingernails like razor blades
shrouded in purple silk
Caress like the breeze
on midsummer night
burnt-caramel coloured eyes
lit with smouldering charcoal fires
dispatch the cold from inside
Lips of liquid velvet
that ease a troubled mind
Hair with mahogany glow
falls down to hide the roots
where white-feather wings
spread out from each shoulder
to carry us away in the night
