That I can use more than 25 words to apply, otherwise I'd never get in!
Actually a friend suggested that I join, months ago, because I love to write. I pleaded lack of time at that point and promised that when my other responsibilities lightened up, I'd take the plunge. Well, here I am, after many delays and side-trips. I took a couple of creative writing courses in college, but I've always felt "not quite good enough" about almost everything I've ever written. I'm hoping to learn a lot and see some improvement in my writing, especially when it comes to short stories and being a better self-editor.
Anyway...that's it. If you want to see some of my writing to see if I'm decent enough, please yell and I'll be happy to share.
