the water seems cool, refreshing as i test it with the tip of my foot. i hesitate as my mind warns me -caution- but the thought is soon cast to the back of my mind. jump in my body tells me. don't think about it. my heart lurches in the my chest, my throat as i fly through the air. -too late to turn back- but elation fills me as i split the cool blue water. down, down, down i go. the pressure getting harder. building. until i can stay under no longer. up to the surface i rise. like a cork. i pop into the moonlit sky. water droplets sparkle around me. my hair wet. my body dripping.
