The light had passed, and shadows had fallen.
The silence was almost deafening.
She knew not how she heard the noise, for no-one was there, nothing was around.

She spun around, in this utter silence,
It pounded her ears.

She tried to scream out, but nothing was heard aside the chilling sensation that slithered down her spine.
