I feel it is a great shame that a thread in 'My BDSM Life' which contained members discussing highly sensitive and emotive matters but in a generally calm, constructive way, was recently locked.

I think the site as a whole would be improved by being less quick to jump on such things.

Also, the insistence that different parts of the site are entirely separate (nothing more than 'sharing a server') causes some confusion I think, given that you have to have a forums account in order to enter the chat, or indeed to submit a story.

Just my ten cents, as they say.

off hand I do not know which thread you are talking about ---But I will say we have the best Moderators and Admin on the net ---so there must have been a good reason ---I do not try to second guess them -----

and it is easy to be a monday morning quarterback ---moderators have a thankless job ----they are damned if they do something and damned if they don't

You are welcome to your opinion that it is a shame ----but like my opinion and a buck will buy you a cheap cup of coffee ---

They are referring to the thread you closed rabbit. The one about the chat room. Remember?

I think they read your reasoning, were just disappointed that it was closed, and expressed why they felt that way. I agree with them. However as you are the one to make those decisions, and have your own opinion on how the forms should be managed. I respect your decision, just don't agree with it.

Take care.

Thanks ---yes I make tough decisions ---some are liked some are not ---and I do respect your opinion as well as others opinion and I thank you for the respect you have shown that yes I do have to make those decisions ----and sometimes I have to put my own opinion about the subject to the side and make a decision on what I think is best for the site ---weather I agree with the post or not --

and we all know I am not perfect ---I make mistakes and will continue to make mistakes ---hopefully not the same ones ----but you know anytime you do anything ---you are not going to make them ----the only people who do not make mistakes are those people who do not do anything ---lol

Cheers
