I'd like to join at Level One please

No way to post in the Intro, so I guess this will be it. The following is my 25-word-plus essay on why I'm here.



I've always been an essay writer, never a creative writer. I just assumed I'd be bad at fiction, or that I had no stories to tell. But last month, when I started writing down a persistent fantasy, it quickly spun out of control, and suddenly I'd written 5 chapters. And the most amazing thing was that people liked it.

So here I am, hoping to find out if I, too, can be creative. Stretch me.
