Pregnancy and Sexuality

I'm curious about all of your takes on the appeal of pregnant women.

Obviously, there's a presence of pregnancy fetishists in the world; but while this makes sense in many ways to me intellectually, I've recently (and sadly) discovered I'm the complete opposite: the idea of having sex with a pregnant woman leaves me a bit queasy. She's still very beautiful to me, and I'm deeply in love and horny as all get out...but the idea of bathing my developing kid in cum is just creepy.

From the comments of my friends, there seems to be a dividing line between those who've never had kids and assume I'm still having sex (and thus, assumedly, would do so themselves) and those who've had kids and assume I'm pristinely chaste. All of this has made me incredibly curious...how DO those interested in women feel about having sex with a pregnant woman?

my husband and I have choosen for now not to have children.

however... he thinks pregnant women are beautiful.. and he rather young.. 24... he loves the look of the full swollen breasts and just the glow pregnant women have.

I don't know that he has a preference either way.. but I do know he finds preggers beautiful and sexy.

having had 4 children i wil tell my side of the story.
while preggy my husband- who is very nilla!- just wanted sex, i dont think he actually really cared one way or the other about what i looked like, as long as he could get layed!
he used to say to me " what about all these women who get super horny while they are pregnant? how come you arent like that?"

for my part? sex while pregnant was just yuk. i had morning sickness all day for months, i felt tired, sex? NO
i read somewhere that some european country, i think maybe Italy, had a tradition of once the wife was pregnant, he went out and found a mistress for the next 18 months/2 years. which sounds like an excellent idea to me!

Having never been pregnant, I can't really say. But were I pregnant, I don't think my husband would find it a turn on or a turn off. I think it's about the intimacy and the sex still when you're pregnant... unless the man I marry is a closet pregnancy-fetishist. =)

Thats a first, but wouldn't you miss sex at all?

I know you were looking for the male input, so please forgive my two cents. I have been pregnant and I loved having sex then. I loved how I felt being touched, feeling so much like a woman, I loved how swollen my breasts got, I just enjoyed it as part of the cycle of a womans sexuality.

I didn't get morning sickness, I was lucky that way and I know that if I was to ever have another child I would enjoy it just as much.

There is in my opinion something sacred about a pregnanat women. She has this holy air around her. That's why it's so much fun to "violate" a pregnant women. Makes me feel like the devil inside :) It's a great feeling.

If the question is whether or not I find them more sexy, the answer is no. It's a turn on anyway.

well, i answered that pregnancy isn't a turn on or a turn off (answering for my husband here! lol)

i know i'm not a guy, but when i was pregnant with my daughter i had horrible horrible morning/afternoon/night sickness so i wasn't exactly feeling all that sexy or horny. even after the morning sickness went away, i was just miserable...but then again i did have a lot of complications with my pregnancy and ended up having to deliver 6 weeks early. but i know that during all that time, hubby was still as horny as ever and still wanting to have sex with me. LOL i don't think it was an unusual turn on to him to know i was pregnant though...he just didn't care one way or another. at the time he was just happy to get laid. LOL

My Hubby has a definite liking for the glow of pregnancy, he used to joke about keeping me barefoot and pregnant.

tessa is correct in telling you that there is no way for your swimmers to get anywhere the baby, the cervix is sealed and baby is safely sealed in its amniotic sac.

If it eases your mind at all sex during pregnancy is also very good for Mum for several reasons.

If you don't like the idea of coming inside your pregnant woman, maybe you could go a different way and come on her or in her mouth?

I voted "meh" (LOL) as I am neither turned on nor turned off... when it comes to intercourse and vanilla sex, but I will say that I would be very reluctant to do any edgy scening. A woman's body has enough stress put on it carrying a child to term.

Pregnant woman always seem to be unbelievable alive.

I have never had sex with a pregnant woman. My ex-wife (who was extremely vanilla) never wanted children.

But since I have been divorced I have had two relationships with women who were mothers. And I agree with Tom and TeddyBear, there is something about being with someone so fertile and alive and I think sacred is the right word. Also both of these women were great mothers to their kids and they were great subs and sexual partners.

And both of these women's breasts were amazing, great large nipples and I might be naive but some of that was due to being pregnant and nursing.
