I keep thinking, lately, that nobody (at least nobody I know) really celebrates "the birth of jesus christ, our lord". Nobody really celebrates the original yule, either. All we want is a holiday, and shiny wrapping, and lights on a tree--which is fair enough. We should rename it, that's what we should do. Well, at least after we get rid of organised religion. But enough about my silly thoughts.
You didn't say if there's anything you're hoping to get this holiday

I certainly hope that you wrap yourself well, my dear. And you must be greatful of anything that you get which fills you stockings, may it fill them to the bursting pont. And do not be concerned about not knowing what you want in the way of a gift. Christmas can come at any time of year, you know. There's no reason that we should need only one day a year, not true?

To be completely honest, I'm more interested in the wrapping (lol). Plus, keeping in mind that I'm going home for Christmas, and home is Greece, money's tight so i think i'm mostly getting stocking fillers! Not that i'm complaining--I like the thought that my friends and family went to the trouble of getting me something they'll think I'd enjoy; I care not for expensive gifts. But, answering your question, I honestly don't know what I want for Christmas!
And, true, the new year is long and will be fruitful--it has to be!

What do you wish to have for Christmas? And a year is a long time, surely an entire year will bring you great happiness and fun and excitement!

I'm quite glad--it would have been a disappointment to offer a friendship request and be met with silence and rejection....!
And yes, Christmas is a time sharing with everyone, I give you that, but.. that means I also get PRESENTS!! )

Aye, the very same. Apart from the fact that I'm still looking for work which makes life quite more boring than I'd like.. But hey, Christmas is coming soon, which is always pleasant. (need I jump about shouting "PRESENTS!!!!" or does that go without saying? :P )
