I have been on the site since April, 2010 and have learned many things, met many people, and experienced so much.

One thing I struggle with is the disappearing act. People I see week after week, month after month, and then….nothing. They are gone as if they never existed, the only evidence behind is what they left, a profile, maybe blogs and the saddest…the people, friends or Doms/subs left mourning their loss. Is a quick email really too much to ask?!? A simple explanation or at the very least a warning or a brief goodbye to the people they developed close relationships with?

In the summer, I had someone (a friend) leave me but at least he had the decency to respond to an email. Then I watched another person lose their sub and that was heartbreaking but again at least it came with some finality. Now I just witnessed two Doms walk away leaving their subs abandoned and without explanation.

It is sad…The Disappearing Act.
