Since the whore's very existence is to serve and please her owner, it is important that she understand exactly what does please him. This requires study and vigilance so that she can comprehend and interpret his needs and desires. She must be constantly aware of his moods, his ideas, his interests and his needs. She must therefore become the mirror of his deepest thoughts, reflecting back to him the answer to his demands and his desire.

She must seek to engage him in conversation in order to understand his thoughts. She must be aware of his moods and his emotional state in order to react to him in the appropriate way. She must study his habits and his personality so that she may anticipate his wants and be ready to respond to him in the most whorish way.

There are no hard and fast rules for this task. There is no time table, no goals, no carved in stone method. For each whore in training, this is perhaps the hardest task of all because it is the one in which she is almost completely without guidance. In fact, if properly done, the Owner will not even know that the whore is performing this task, whether she is successful, even that he is aware that this is a task.
