Writing the book on BDSM

Rating: 3 votes, 3.67 average.
So many times I go places and get to hear someone waxing poetic about BDSM. I have been on chat boards and in chat rooms where people discuss BDSM and what it really means. Hell, I've read blogs with intense writings by intense people detailing the "truth" behind BDSM - "A Master: What it really means" or "Real Slavery: A Life of Servitude".

Of course, most of these folks have the private line to the BDSM gods who tell them what it truly means to be all these things. "I am a real master," they will tell you, espousing necessary punishments for their slave or detailing tasks that slaves need to perform. These same people will blast you for differing notions of what a BDSM life really is.

Well, it is my turn!

A BDSM life is like any other life. You find a good partner - hopefully someone you love more than you love BDSM. Then you bring whatever aspects of BDSM into the relationship that the two (or more) of you really want. Then, you live your life. It's that fucking hard. If you don't communicate your relationship will fail. That's how relationships work.

Oh, the answer to the undying question "Is a BDSM lifestyle deeper than a vanilla lifestyle?" is "NO! Your relationship is as deep as you allow it to be."

Why the fuck do so many people want to talk about this shit so much? And, no, I am not talking about it. I am talking about those dull assed people who have to talk about it all the time.

Now, I need to find my plunger. You know you're in a deep relationship when a plunger is involved.
