For your first assignment, craft a scene/chapter/story with this opening:

Sandra hated rainy days, especially in winter. Everyone wore wool in winter, so rain made it smell like the city was populated by damp sheep. Footsteps behind her interrupted her musings and made her stand straighter.

"Sandra, rain or shine, you still have tasks to complete."
