July Entry. Lingering Kiss. By Uncle _Ed
The road was long and deserted, the wastelands stretching to the red-stained horizon to either side. The engine of the old car ran smoothly as only a tuned V8 can and the waste gasses roared at the road fleeing from behind the car's flicked-up rear spoiler.
The driver sat easy behind the wheel, gripping the worn hand-stitched leather with a light touch ocassionally correcting the steering as the wide tyres tracked over one of the many dead small animals in the dirt road. Then, the swirl of dust from the car became pink with the spray of blood from the destroyed carcass.
The old Bluespot radio in the dash came suddenly to life, spitting out some unfamiliar song, He caught two or three snatches of the lyrics before it lapsed once again into fitful static.
He squinted behind the dark shades he wore and swore softly as he made out the shimmering outline of the hitch-hiker ahead. His prick clamped into his shorts as he saw her clearly, suddenly and shockiingly in detail as the car rocketed toward her. He braked hard and swung the wheel, the car fishtailing wildly in the soft dust before sliding to a halt just past where the girl stood.
He turned in the seat and stared back at the figure as she struggled to lift the heavy suitcase. Her tight, damp white blouse strained to contain her full breasts. He swore again under his breath as he recognised her.
"Damn"
He opened the car door and swung out into the humid heat of the late afternoon.
"Christ, Dil, is that really you?"
The girl looked up at him wearily and grinned faintly.
"Sure is, Roy. Give me a hand?" She glanced down at the suitcase.
He strode over to her and easily lifted the battered case, heaving it into the car. He leaned against the dust-streaked car and tililted his head to look at the girl.
"What the hell are you doing out here?"
She drooped her shoulders and answered quietly, "The same as you, Roy. Exactly the same"
He angrily sprung at her, confused by his own reaction and her unexplained presence. He ripped off her blouse and twisted her breasts in his large, rough hands, She whimpered but from the look in her eyes was not frightened. She ran her fingers over the crotch of his jeans and purred at his hardness. She gripped him and swayed close. Roy responded and tore down her short skirt. Kneeling in the thick dust his tongue found her slick slit and he lapped at her sweetness.
He ran his hands down the back of her thighs. He froze. His eyes opened and he gagged as he saw the blackened, putrid mass in which his mouth was buried. He screamed and fell back, a comic sight in the yellowing dusk. The girl transformed before him, her skin drying and crisping before peeling off.
His voice cracked as he continued to scream for eternity: "Your presence is lingering for longer than I thought it would..."
Her eyeless sockets see him still-she remembers his tongue on her neck as his mind lost track of the road as they plunged into the gorge. Now-she will take him down to the burning world underground as they travel to hell -finally together.
