Collaring Ceremony

Good day,

I'm writing a story that will have a collaring ceremony in it. Is anyone here willing to share the rituals and vows that you might have used?

This is going to be hard to get answers on. Collarings are like weddings, intensely different and designed for the individuals. About the only common theme is that the collaree is often kneeling, but even this is not a given. I know of at least one time where this was skipped with a simple explanation that recent surgery precluded the kneeling.

Yeah, I figured it would be very personal which I why I wanted to let folks know that it might end up posted somewhere. The g@@gle searches I've done have given me some ideas but I was hoping for something more.

We made up our own based on our feelings for each other. No canned version or script was used. Like Rhabbi said it was like a wedding ceremony and we just said what we felt; expressing the love we felt for each other was of utmost importance to us.

Sorry I know this doesn't really help you but maybe it will give you an idea on how to come up with what you want to say. Imagine your feelings for the person you will be collared to, what you want to say to them, and go from there.
