Hello at last
I think I have been lurking this fine website for what could easily be up to 5 or so years now. It's not really something I have kept track on, but when I look back over the last few years it seems like I have always been following one story or another.
Now that I have finally decided to write many of the stories I have been intending to write for so long I figured it was due time to pop in and say Hi.
So, Hi. :wave:
I'm an Australian, and there seems to be a few around. I'm hail from the beautiful tropical north Queensland, not that you are likely to find me lounging on a beach. I much prefer reading a book, having a quiet drink with friends or listening to some good music. I like storytelling. I enjoy reading a good story and I am pleased to say I seem to enjoy writing them as well. I wish I had a better half to share my time with but I haven't found the right woman yet.
I just finished writing my first decent length story for the website "The James Family". Some people seem to like it and I have gotten some welcome correspondence. I am just deciding on which of my stories I tackle next, or perhaps have a go at jumping back and forth between two different stories in progress.

Welcome and I have to say your story sounds very familar to me. I lurked in the story section for a few years myself before joining the forum and starting to write stories myself. You might like to check out the Writer's Block too.
