When is the pain alone…….enough?



Sometimes questions are put to me that need more then the standard “Dear Thrall” answer. I think that this is one of those questions, that a verity of answers, form different perspective and points of view, would be helpful.

I think the answer can be given form both the Dom/Domme and submissive points of view.

The question asked of me was where in the process can you cum form the pain alone? Is this possible and how do you get there???

The pain ladder is different for everyone……how we feel good pain and…..bad pain….is all part of the process. Everyone is different and has higher or lower tolerances of pain…….where the personal edge is.

Can you cum form the pain alone without anything else?…….Yes. Can you be spanked, cropped or flogged…or for that matter anything else… to the point where…...the pain becomes pleasure?……..Yes. A good deal depends on how masochistic you are.

I may not be the best Dom for this question, since I am not much of a sadist. That is not to say that I don't use pain in my style. I start most new subs out with a pleasure spanking, I personally believe that few people can cum from just pain and that those that can had a Dom that understood that the body has sensors that can be confused.

Yes - because it is very possible to associate specific forms of pain with pleasure in the submissive's mind. As long as the pain is administered in a manner and at a level that doesn't cross over into "this is no longer fun" territory, it is indeed possible to take a sub to orgasm just with the careful application of pain.

No - because if that association between pleasure and pain isn't made (Russell's method is a classic) then the pain is just --- pain. it is a mental thing i agree which is why im surprised that Sir_Russel says that few subs can cum by pain alone, if ive been anticipating or even just fantisizing about it then as soon as the pain starts i often cum ...its common knowledge that the only way some women cum is by 'making' themselves whilst having sex and that is a mental excersise.
