Random Thoughts.

I just wrote this now, haven't really edited it, just threw words on the page, so don't pick at it too harshly...

There are days when I need to breathe
To let out the angst constricting my soul
Count to ten, and start again...

There are moments when I want to scream
So loud that I would even surprise myself
Concentrate on music, let it clear my mind...

There are periods when depression hits
Crying in the night, recovering from the pain
Dare I be too loud, the sleeping giants wake...

There is joy when all I see is sunshine
Laughter and love of friends bringing me back
To where I should be, but it is a momentary reprieve...

An angel dreams and looks to the night sky
Appealing to a nonchalant moon
Dreaming of peace and independence
A chance ever so fleeting to live a life
Free from those who do not understand

I need guidance and support
I am standing alone in reality
Crumbling as each day passes
The warm spirit of my Friends
Keeping the focus of this broken fool

I am trying so hard to remain steady
Thinking of the goals that are in place
My will is weak, I am not as strong
As I once thought I was

I fear they will get me
No matter how far I run
Whether in this country or the next
They will find me, my soul unable to rest

My dreams are all I have
To keep this illusion of a future alive
Paranoia will never leave me
Have lived a life of fear for too long to change

My soul is flying to you
While my shell is weakening
One day we shall be together
That is my wish before I fade

Take me away Master
I can no longer be here
Keep me warm and safe
Free me from pain and torment
Away from them, forever

I love you so much my dearest Love
That and the unwavering strength
Of my friends that I count on one hand
Keeps this flickering candle burning...for now
