Hello everyone! I'm new to this... but I am wonderfully excited about it :)

I just read other members introductory posts and decided to add more to mine :)

I am 23, I came across something that mentioned BDSM several months ago, and had never heard of it before, so I looked into it, and have voraciously consumed literature on the subject since that time... Something about certain elements of BDSM struck a chord, and I cannot seem to get enough information about it...

If I understand myself correctly, I am a submissive... I am unused to writing about things so personal, and do not yet have the 'naughty' vocabulary as it were, but I am certain, after several months of research, that I will learn the things I long to learn, starting here. I find the idea of bondage profoundly intriguing, and the idea of submission...let's just say that I find I have a deep and intense desire for it...

I value honesty, respect, and directness... and from what I understand, the BDSM community corresponds with these values (?)

As for the vanilla parts: I love learning, the arts, dancing, literature and philosophy.... And that is all I can think of to post at the moment... :)

I am in a relationship that is rather vanilla. I have tried to hint at what I want, but am unsure of how to go about it further... I hope to learn that here...

I hope that wasn't either too much or too little... I am earnest in my interest. :)
