What were the complaints? Care to share? Complaints are 'gray' unless they are specific.
I'm surprised that there would be some kind of censorship on photos that feature bondage, discipline, etc. on this site, unless of course, there were minors, nc, rape, or other such stuff.
Have the 'complainers' seen the home page? :whip:
If you want to know what I think of the below posted pictures, I like them. I'm a switch that leans more toward the bottom, so they heat up both ends of my spectrum. :bondage:

Ah there is no censorship of pictures beside copyrighted and child pictures---if no one like the harshness they do not have to look----I have to approve all pictures before they are seen anyway so that the above mentioned things do not appear---but I will not censor content beyound that.
folks Lavender is new to moderation ---and maybe I did not make it clear the boards policy on censorship---which is unless it breaks a posted forum rule ---leave it alone---she did seem to mean well responding to a complaint---Unfortunely there are many complaints ---as we all have different likes and dislikes---and a moderators job is to put personal dislikes aside when handling others posts and just make sure they are within the rules---they may make their personal opinions known such as posting ---I do not like this kind of thing---but may not censor any post according to those likes or dislikes.--- I have since made this clear to her and will to all the new moderators. Sorry for the confusion.

What constitutes a copywrited picture? does the statement "I've collected these pictures" make them any less someone elses? I had interpreted the rule to mean "I took the pictures myself" or maybe "I know the dude/dudette who took the pictures."
Is there an age at which point a picture's copywrite lapses? I've seen some vintage b&w shots that I'm pretty sure either appeared in old mags or were sold as part of sets in days gone by.

For site purposes copyright means that the picture has a copyright symbol or a web address on it. We can't look up every picture posted so the responsibility is with the poster not to post copywrited materieal.Quote:
