Pallidan
Well, being new here, I might as well try to stir things up.
I've been reading this site for a long time, and just decided to take a look at the forums tonight. After searching, I was rather surprised that there wasn't any discussion of Pallidan's stories.
I have to be honest, he's hurting my opinion of this site. In the short time he has been around, he has now posted 70 stories. I think I've managed to read close to ten of them, just out of morbid curiosity. Curiosity to see if they ever become readable.
The general plots are often ones that suit my tastes, but the grade three writing level is painfull.
I went through some of his reviews, just wondering what others think of him. I noticed two trends - one person that posted the same 1/2 star review on all his posts, which I do think is a bit immature, and a second poster - mkemse I believe - that seems to have gone out of his way to review every one of Pallidan's stories, and rate almost every one at 8 stars +.
Eh, maybe it's just a coincidece, but I figure that those reviews ballance out the 1/2 star spammed ones anyways.
I just wanted to add my voice to those begging Pallidan, please, slow down and finish writing one story before you pump out the next five. Just a little editing and proofreading and you might have something. What you have right now is spam that most people ignore.

re: Palidan
Well I for one enjoy most of his work, especially the F/f humiliation stories. Once in a blue moon I will review a story but for the most part I do not as I am on dial-up and am usually downloading messages in the newsgroups while I surf or download stories here. Most of his stories are short and sweet and easy to read and the plots are not that complicated. Since you mention he has done like 70 stories, then you know what you get when you see a new one. I hope he continues to post here.

I've read a few of Pallidan's stories, but none of them have really kindled any interest because I find them nigh-on unreadable, since they are, as you say, written to a pretty low standard. I can see them being enjoyable at some relaxed, skim-reading level, but I tend to stay away from them these days.
I agree with you Bunk: Pallidan needs to lower the pace a little, and work on his individual stories a little before he moves onto another project.

being the nice person I am I decided to read atleast one of paladins stories befor posting. while I cant fault him for his misspellings ( I make plenty of those myself) I have to agree that the righting style isnt the best I have read. I also think that as bunk said slowing down as he typed them would help I came across several sentince fragments in the first paragraph alone and gave up when it didnt capture my attention in the first three paragaphs. when dealing in the short story format this is a must. the story line itself ( from what i saw) how ever seemed sound.

Very simple soluation
I see a very simple solution to this problem: don't click on P's stories. If he enjoys writing, then who cares?
Judging the entire site by one author seems silly to me - especially since this is a free site, populated by user's story posts.

On Palladin
I do agree that Palaldin makes many mistakes and borders on being unreadable. I am not certain if I ever reviewed any of his stories or not but I have read one or two, always refraining from following past the first few paragraphs.
However, he seems to enjoy writing his stories and you do have a choice whether or not to read them. I suggest you think of Palladin's tales as you might the TV. Just change the channel or never switch to it.
