tired of the internet / casual scene
i guess this post is the reason i signed up ..
for the past 3 years i have been experimenting with D/s to certain degrees but all have been at the safe distance of online or telephone. i have met someone within the past 6 months that enjoys a bit of D/s in a live setting but not to the extent that i am finding i need.
what i'm looking for is your suggestions as those far more experienced then me, where to go in the toronto area that i might be able to observe and potentially meet people of my ilk.
a couple of things that are musts for me right now ..
1) this has to be a place that is safe for me to go alone
2) this must be a kink dress optional place (i'm not into dressing in public .. for now)
3) this must not be a "beautiful people only" place
and lastly,
4) this must be a place where i can observe without fear of criticism
for me this is a lifetime committment and i'm not in any hurry but i do feel that i am ready for the next step.
also, any thoughts, suggestions or guidance any Dom/mes have for unescorted subs, i would greatly appreciate it.

thank you sir. i've always hoped that the collision of my logical mind, my need to please and my desire to be dominated would serve me well. it's humbling when someone else notices.
even though you aren't able to help from a geography viewpoint .. any thoughts you might have on a submissive going unescorted to a social event would be most helpful. mostly, i am looking at ensuring that i do not overstep any rules of decorum.
