not to be rude Sir, but I don't think creating 5 millions threads on it will help..
there are already ones designated for the Review issue and for the chat. I am sure things will be sorted out in time.. but the mods are vounteers and can only do so much. I am just as anxious as you, for things to be working correctly.. just breath in deep and relax.. all will be well again soon :)
Anya
You are right. :ty

and chat is fixed ---and it does no good to post it on the board ---let a mod or admin know ---so they can fix it ----tiger is now working on the problem of the reviews---the chat problem was fixed --I went there my self and checked it and it was working ----but problems need to be brought to the attention of the mods and Admin not posted on the board ---pm or email me
Sorry, I should have pm you right away after discovering the problem. Naturally, having a few Molson Canadians (great beer) did not help.Quote:

I find I have to login anew all the time, the login script doesn't keep me in. If I spend fifteen minutes thinking about and writing a post, and don't load any new pages, then often the server has silently kicked me out by the time I press "submit". Now I like being submissive, but not to a *beep* server script.

I have had this same problem from day 1 and I have tried all suggestions and still the same results. I have just gotten used to the idea that I will occasionally have to login in again. Small price to pay for the great company even though I agree it is a pain in the ass. To the server - :14:Quote:

Ooh, thats a neat tip.Thanks Redhot33.
Your Welcome, I found that I have to do that sometimes over at the Academy. Then here too when I started spending time here also.
Funny thing is (if it's not a server/software prob) that I also am asked to log-in when wanting to review a story... but here on the forums I am already logged-in...
When I log off and back on again, I still can't review the story.
Another thing: among today's addittions (June 18), Michelle Marker's "Slave Sharon" story seems to have some errors in it, as I am unable to view the uploaded draft... not in Firefox, nor it's IE-tab...

no the review problem is a server issue ---well actually a software issue here as when we had to go to a new server some setting got messed up ---warbaby had the problem on the forums before the server problemQuote:

As a matter of fact, I usually go by the default settings except when I read a a tip somewhere and then make a change to the computer I am on at the time. I also am using three different firewalls on these computers so I have kind of ruled those out. Other than the ISP being the same one there is also one other common factor and that is they are all hooked up to routers of the same brand. But on a laptop I am accessing the Internet through an Access Point of a different brand, however, it is still hooked to the router to get its access to the Internet.Quote:

If you check the reviews, you will notice that nobody has been able to access the reviews since June 14 before the server went down. I am using a Canadian IPS and I still cannot get into the reviews.
No that isn't my problem. I have to occasionally re-login but it is only a minor aggravation.Quote:
