i'm not as gifted as most here but i wrote this and thought, what the heck ill post it here =)
His calm stare bores into me
As a sea of tumultuous waves
Rages inside of me
Conflict stretches over my body
Like a balloon embraces the air
The words left unsaid:
“I am afraid.”
“I am excited.”
Not needing to be said
For they scream from my soul.
In agony, in joy
Others may not understand that
I am freed in my confinement
Exploring beyond the “shadowy zone”
where opposites meet
and attract each other.
