Tamed to be free

Have you ever admired the untamed beauty of the panther?
The sharpness of her instincts
her independence
her graceful stride, full of pride
the fierce will and fire in her eyes that dies in captivity.

And have you ever been touched by the admiration of a dog for its owner?
His unconditional love
his unwavering trust and loyalty
his enthusiasm at your praise and attention
his joyful spark that dies when he is set free.

Can you
tame the panther
without breaking her spirit?

Dare you
set the dog free
and help him walk alone?

Will they
choose to stay with you
knowing they are
free to be tamed
and
tamed to be free?

Only then
will I be tamed
by you.
