I must say all the stories were high quality and the entrants should be proud! Kudos to all of you.

Thanks all! I know that a lot of people say "I don't care who wins", but as this is the first thing I've ever won for my writing, then it does mean something to me.

But it's the fact that the other stories were so good - there wasn't a duff one in there - that's what really makes me proud.

Thanks to everyone who voted, whether it was for me or someone else. There's a reason why I tend not to submit stories for the library any more - it's because you usually get much more feedback here, despite getting 1/100th of the number of readers. Hope this continues...
